2010/2011 ASG Kids Club Sports Camp
ASG offers an exciting, fun-filled day-camp for kids who are either on break from school or are out for the summer. Our instructors are USA Gymnastics safety certified and have successfully passed a national background check. They not only provide a safe environment but thoroughly enjoy working with kids! Your children will not only be active all day but will go home happy and tired!

- 10% sibling discount
- Activities include ASG open gym, IMAX, The Denver Aquarium, Casa Bonita, Brunswick Zone, crafts and more!
- Camp prices include all activities!
- Caring, experienced and safety certified instructors. Low student/teacher ratio!
- FREE gymnastics classes for those enrolling in 3 weeks or more weeks of summer camp. (1x/week gymnastics-8 week summer session - $120 value)
- Children should pack a sack lunch and 2 snacks per day.
- Camp is offered between 7:30 AM-5:00 PM. We usually leave ASG daily by 10 AM.

Mondays: Sock Day! We rotate between Skate City and Brunzwick Zone in Highlands Ranch. Skate rental or bowling shoe rental is included.
Tuesdays: Pool Day! We are going to the community pool. We group the kids according to age and swimming ability. Each child will need to do a swim test with our instructors to determine their confidence in the pool. Sunscreen and a change of clothes are required. Concession money is optional.
Wednesdays: Movie days! We go to Elvis Theater on Hampden Road for weekly movies. Popcorn is included. Concession money is optional. Movie list will be posted in gym lobby.
Thursdays: H2O Brien water park. Sunscreen and a change of clothes are required. Concession money is optional.
Fridays: These are the BIG field trip days! See weekly themes for scheduled excursions.
Daily Schedules: Open gym, snack time, games/crafts, lunch, scheduled activity for the day and more!
Week One: June 9th - 11th Gymnastics Camp/Water Park!
This is our highly anticipated gymnastics camp for all levels. Campers will rotate through gymnastic rotations on all events with our trained, experienced instructors. Campers will be divided based on their skill level, experience and age. To add to the camp experience, they’ll participate in gym fun and games. Wednesday and Thursday will be Gymnastics Camp. Friday we will be heading to H²O Briens Water park!
Week 2: June 14th-18th Tie Dye!
ASG Campers will travel to “My Art Workshop” in Littleton to create their own unique tie dye t-shirt. We will be wearing these t-shirts on our future Friday excursions. They have a shaded lunch area, where we will eat.
Week 3: June 21st -25th Wild Kingdom!
What summer would be complete without a trip to The Denver Zoo? We’ll interact with our favorite animals, have a picnic lunch among them, and enjoy the various educational programs the zoo has to offer.
Week 4: June 28nd-July 2nd Beach BBQ!
This is an exciting week with activities planned around a theatre production of The Wizard of Oz at the Mizel Art Center on Thursday. On Friday we are headed to Cherry Creek State Park for a Beach BBQ! There will be a sand castle contest, Frisbee games and more. Bring your favorite squirt gun for even more water fun.
Week 5: July 6th-July 9th Under the Sea!
The Downtown Aquarium, formerly Ocean’s Journey, features exhibits on the large sea, rain forests, sunken temples, coral lagoons and more! Not only will the kids be fascinated but they’ll learn how we can help conserve and protect our oceans.
Week 6: July 12th-16th Bike Bingo!
This week we will be learning about bike safety as we prepare for our Friday trip. Bring your bikes and helmets to enjoy the bike trails at Cherry Creek State Park. We will be playing Bike Bingo along the way and will have ice cream at the end of the trail.
Week 7: July 19th-23rd Food & Fun!
One of Colorado’s top 10 “must see” locations for visitors is Casa Bonita. This landmark restaurant offers the kids a chance to enjoy lunch, sopapillas, cliff divers, an arcade, puppet shows and more!
Week 8: July 26th-30th Cooking up a Storm!
Our campers will learn about nutrition this week. Activities include decorating an apron and learning about healthy snacks. On Friday we will go for a behind the scenes look at Old Chicago at Tamarac. Campers will tour the kitchen and make their own salad and pizza!
Week 9: August 2nd -6th Game On!
We will be going to Nickel-A-Play for a fun time with our favorite arcade games.
Week 10: August 9th-13th Aurora’s Got Talent!
Wrapping up the summer, the kids will use various props, costumes and their own raw talent to organize their very own talent show. We’ll have a dress rehearsal and then perform a final show for family and friends. Hollywood, here we come!
Week 8 - Parent information
Monday, July 26 – Bowling – bring socks. Leaving ASG at 10:00 am.
Tuesday, July 27 – Pool Day – bring 2 drinks, swim suit, sunscreen, hat and towel. Leaving ASG at 10:30 am.
Wednesday, July 28 – Movie Day – popcorn provided with movie ticket – (optional - extra money for drinks or other snacks. Please remember that movie snacks and drinks are expensive). Leaving ASG at 11:00 am.
Thursday, July 29 – - H2O Brien – bring 2 drinks, swim suit, sunscreen, hat, towel. Leaving ASG at 9:15 am.
Friday, July 30 – Touring Old Chicago at Tamarac – Lunch is included. Leaving ASG at 10:30 am. Wear your tie dye t-shirt.
Also, pack the following items for your child daily:
- 2 healthy snacks, 2 containers of water (no glass containers)
Please wear comfortable athletic clothing. No dresses, jeans, or clothing with belts, buckles, zippers or snaps.
Please be sure to sign your child in when they are dropped off and sign them out when they are picked up.
Payment for each week is due no later than the Monday prior to the week your child is attending.
Cell phones are not permitted. Your child can call you at anytime, but we do not allow them to text and make calls to others during the day.
